Summer Classes
We are so excited to present summer classes that promise to be fun and challenging. We are currently enrolling. The 6 week classes will run from June 21-July 29, 2010. NFLB has discovered a real need for quality tutoring in our community. If you're in need of a tutor, for children 6-16, please contact us at (562) 696-5262. We can find a tutor for most subjects, including writing, reading, basic math skills, biology, chemistry, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, English and Spanish. Our rates are extremely reasonable considering the quality of tutor your child will work with.
If you'd like to work as a tutor, we would be pleased to meet with you. All tutors are expected to have at least 2 years of college experience toward a specific degree, along with experience working with children as an instructor. Having a degree, credential, teaching experience will put you at the front of the line. Begin by filling out a two page application: click here. Then fax it in to (696) 562-7878 or email it to:

Wishlist Program
With much regret, I have to announce that, due to the fact that we now have a different web-supplier, the Wishlist Program is currently suspended. We're hoping it will return in the future when our web-supplier realizes that it's a GOOD DEAL for teachers AND them!Rebate Program
Basically when a teacher, or teachers, or school entity purchases more than $300, they can qualify for a 15% rebate, more than $400 - a 20% rebate, and more than $500 - a 25% rebate on their single purchase - IF the money will go to a specific program that will direct impact students; for example: lab fees, field trips, uniforms, workshops, equipment, etc. A check will then be made out to the school to spend toward a particular project or need. Teachers are notorious for buying teacher resources that they never use or barely use. Now there's a place where they can make use of these materials. Instead of trying to sell them at a yard sale, they can bring them in to our store to be traded in for store credit. Teachers can receive 30% of what we will then sell their items for in the store. It's win-win for everyone. Other teachers can then get a good deal on teaching materials that are still in great condition. To download a PDF of the rules, please click here.School Box Program
Better late than never! It took forever to put everything together, but the School Box Program is finally ready to go.
So here's the deal: We have pencil boxes full of basic school supplies. The boxes are $15.99 each and I will send $5 of the purchase price to any school or PTA. That's a good deal right? For more information, please check out this downloadable flier.
